Drone
Aerial drone photography and video show buyers what ground-level shots can't: the property in its setting. Backbone covers real estate drone photo and drone video across Europe, captured by certified drone operators. Listings with aerial photography sell 68% faster, and drone video shows 3× more of the surrounding area than ground shots alone.

Drone photo and drone video pricing depends on the property and the type of capture. For an accurate quote on your specific property, request one on our get-a-quote page. Drone is also bundled into the Prestige photo and Prestige video packages, and included in some subscription plans.
Drone capture is typically combined with ground photography or video on the same shoot and delivered together within 24 to 48 business hours. Editing, colour correction and stabilisation are included as standard. Exact delivery times per plan are on our pricing page.
Backbone handles drone permits and regulatory compliance on your behalf in every market it operates. Drone shoots are carried out by certified operators with the appropriate national drone licences (including Swiss drone regulations for properties in Switzerland), valid insurance, and the authorisations required for the airspace involved. Drone shoots are subject to weather and local authorisations, and our support team will reach out if the date needs to change. You don't need to organise anything beyond confirming the booking.
Drone photos are worth it whenever the surroundings add value: a garden, a pool, a view, a privileged location, or a large plot. They're also strongly recommended for new builds, country properties, and commercial assets. Listings with aerial photography sell 68% faster, and drone video shows 3× more of the surrounding area than ground shots alone.
Drone photos are still aerial images used in the main listing gallery alongside ground shots. Drone video is a moving aerial sequence used as the hero asset on portals and social. Most premium listings benefit from both: photos for the gallery, video for the click. Both come with GDPR-compliant blurring of faces and licence plates included.
