Floor Plan

A clear floor plan is the second-most-clicked element on a property listing, just after the main photo. Backbone produces 2D floor plans for portal listings (with room names, square metres, compass, scale bar, and your branding included), captured three ways: on site by a Backbone operator, edited from a file you provide, or extracted from a Matterport tour. For richer marketing, Backbone also produces 3D floor plans rendered in three style options, ideal for brochures and hero visuals.

What's the difference between HD and Standard Definition tours?

The HD Tour is captured with a Matterport Pro camera, delivering high-resolution imagery and a dollhouse view of the whole property. The Standard Definition Tour uses a Matterport-compatible 360° camera, at a more accessible price point and with lower resolution. Both tours are immersive, navigable, and embeddable on any real estate portal, agency website, or social channel.

Can I reuse photos from a Virtual Visit?

Yes. The Backbone Photo Extraction service pulls high-quality still images out of an existing Matterport tour, so you get gallery-ready photos without booking a separate photo shoot. It adds no extra time on site and is the fastest way to repurpose a tour for a portal listing.

Can I transfer the Matterport tour to my own account?

Yes. Backbone can transfer the Matterport tour to your own Matterport account on request, so you have full ownership of the asset. For any edits, the tour needs to be transferred back to Backbone temporarily, since only the account owner can modify a Matterport tour.
